makes me very angry. whats going on with this post service? i have asked at my local post office and they have sayed to me that is on its way.

I have no doubt the postal service in Germany is nice and efficient (and I don't mean that in the traditional racial steryotype about german efficiency way either, though I daresay theres a Monty Python joke waiting to be made in here somewhere...

No, the postal service here deliver your stuff when they feel like it, seemingly irrepsective of whether you pay for first class delivery or not... And don't even get me STARTED on the trains, I can now drive and as such if I EVER set foot on another Brittish train it will be far, far too soon

the funny is...i have sended over hundreds of packages all over the world....nearly all Europe states, Canada, USA, Asia,Japan and so one, Indonesia...never had any problems. and now...such an littel "STANDARD UK shippping", :lol: ... an little trading, makes me such problems.

If you think that's bad... there are a few choices in the US for shipping. USPS, DHL, FedEx, and UPS.
FedEx and UPS are pretty tight in competition, it's pretty much a preference for white vs brown. DHL is like a parody of FedEx, trying to do what they do but biting off more than they can chew. They showed up overnight and have been struggling to get anything on time.
USPS. They say it will take a week to get a shipment from, say, Texas to Arizona. The first day they receive it, the second day it sends. The third day it arrives. From there it sits until the estimated delivery date, THEN it gets sent. To make it all better, they are the only ones without a shipping tracker. Instead, it's delivery confirmation. After you have your package and have unwrapped it, the next day it will tell you you got your package.
It also says this when it doesn't show up. Then you have to navigate the Federal Offices in order to find where your package is. They are also the only ones who don't bring it to your door, and the only ones who charge stamps.

@Lt. deriana: your postal adress is correct to that what you have sended me? i mean yes. i have write down on the package "if undeliverable, please return to sender" for the cause that there are some problems with international shippings. but i think it is on its way,still....i hope that.
I worked for UPS one chrismass i never ship with them anymore after that unless theirs package insurence i watched a computer moniter fall from a 3rd floor conveyer belt smash into the ground and a guy pick it up shook it put some more tape on it and litterly through it into the bin

UPS is bad. Very bad. Usually on time, rarely in 1 piece and if you aren't there to sign for it, good luck navigating their automatic phone system to find the place you need to go to pick it up. And even if you do find it, you still have to find its actual location.
FedEx, has been so-so for me. Sometimes on time. Sometimes in 1 piece. And the same problems as UPS when it comes to finding out where to pick it up.
DHL I haven't used yet, but they're bankrolled by people I don't agree with so I don't really care how good they are...
