A brand new adventure has just been released for Traveller!

Set in the Sindal Subsector featured in the recently released Traveller Core Rulebook, Marooned on Marduk is the perfect introduction to the Trojan Reach and the new edition of Traveller.

The Travellers' shuttle to Marduk is damaged during an attack by raiders, forcing it to crash-land far from civilisation. With night falling and little prospect of immediate rescue the Travellers will be forced to seek shelter in nearby ruins, where they discover they are not alone.

If the Travellers can just survive one night on Marduk, rescue will surely come. At worst they face a three-way fight for survival… or perhaps they can befriend the xenophobic survivors and team up against the raiders.

What might the outcome of such an alliance be?

Just had a quick skim, looks good.

There are some minor layout issues on page 30. I will send an email with a screen capture highlighting the areas as I couldn't attach it to this post.

Began my new Traveller campaign with this adventure last night. We played using Roll20.

All three players are new to Traveller but not to role playing. I've been playing off and on for over 25 years.

Marooned on Marduke has some good building blocks for running an adventure. It has plenty of detail without being overly done. Though I do think the "crash landing" trope gets overplayed in science fiction RPG's.

A few bits of constructive criticism: the two full-page pieces of art need to go. They are practically worthless even as player aids. Replace the planet Marduk pic with a planetary info handout I can give the players. The other, muddy picture of the cavern could also be better suited to a map showing the PCs the distances between the crash site, ruins, and downport.

Regardless we all had a great time and I think I've got some new converts to the Traveller system.

Wasn't overly impressed with Marooned, to be completely honest. Found it is bit light, and felt that there could have been more too it. I don't know, but Ai like the idea of cannabalistic natives :)

High and Dry though, I thought was perfect. Great adventure with lots in it :)
