Maps for battle reports

Hey guys,

Planning on doing a battle report with photos and maps (Now i've got a 1000pt Brit force). I was wondering if anyone knew of any templates for the maps. I'm using illustrator but i've got phototshop too. Any thing that already exists before i have to start from scratch would be great.

If you have scenery to hand a digital camera you have your templates already.

Take top down pictures of your scenery and use photoshop to blend them into a map.

In this map the only parts I designed from scratch were the table itself and the road. Everything else is scenery from my table...

However you could take pictures of each turn from roughly the same position and then use photoshop to add information to the pictures like this...

In fact in this picture two of the buildings that made an apperance on the map can be seen as well.
