MAKASTOS - info required for new character - please help?

Hi,

Need some information about the priesthood of Makastos or any reference to it.

I am playing AD&D but my GM uses a lot of other sources to generate characters from and my fighter priest worships Makastos but searching for this on Google only gives 3 hits and I would like a little more background info to get into character.

Anything is a help!

There's a Gloranthan god called Mastakos, if that's any help..

Me thinks my DM has spelt it wrong so it would put me off trail as I search the net - so the correct spelling is a real help - thank you!
