Mail Ordering From Mongoose?

Hi guys,

Just a quick word to let you know what has been going on.

We have made several major revisions to how we handle orders at our miniatures facility, and I am pleased to announce the following;

1. All current orders have been dispatched.
2. Any future orders from the US will be turned around within one week at the most.
3. Any orders dispatched from the UK wil be turned around by our miniatures facility within three days which, including shipping time to our office here in the UK, means you should be waiting a maximum of 2 weeks for your miniatures, _if_ we do not already have them in stock.
4. Our stock levels in both the US and UK have been increased.
5. From this point on, you should see a great reduction in any miscasts or mispacks, due to revised quality control procedures.

What about books?

I ordered 3 books, IPX, freedome station and the Pak'ma'ra book the same time I ordered a Hurr Gunship and a week later a Sharlin for the Valen'tha.

Said no rush get xmas out the way first.

the sharlin and gunship arrived the friday b4 xmas.

One of the guys at my LGS got a bad copy of the 2e rulebook, he's emailed a couple of times but gotten no response. Should he mail again or is there a backlog with the revisions to QC procedures?

Similar to Lorcan Nagle's friend I also haven't had much luck with trying to get a bad copy of the 2nd ed book replaced.
Additionally I'm still waiting trying to get a mix up in the contents of a civilian fleet box I recieved sorted out (had 4 tankers and 2 freighters instead of the listed 4 freighters and 2 tankers)

I was able to get my books replaced, and they are much nicer than the previous batch.

I am still waiting on the missing parts for my Balvarin Carrier, but I decided to write that ship off anyway and try again for a new one.

Depends where you are - New Zealand could take up to 1-2 weeks.

I am hoping to order some books, and ships and hoped to pick them up at the Jan tournament if that is possible rather than have them posted? I did email Sales but i figured they might be v busy after New Year and thought I would try here too

You certainly can - include a note on your order, and we'll refund you the postage. Your models will then be ready for pickup at the weekend!

Am I able to get a replacement for the 2nd edition fleet box that I bought? The entire book has fallen out of it's binding. If so, do I just email or do I have to send in the tattered book?
