You do need to drill out the hole on the Sunhawk, Warbird and Vorchan a little, very carefully, so as to enlarge the hole enough to accomodate the pin on top of the socket head without drilling right through and damaging the model. Or you can carefully file round the pin to shrink it a bit. I did a bit of both. But once glued onto the model with medium or thick cyanoacrylate glue, the heads are secure enough against normal movement.
