Hey guys
I just received my pre-order of Magic of Glorantha today. It looks simply awesome. It's got a lot more in it than we were lead to believe.
Here's the chapter list:
Intro - 2 pages
Draconic Mysticism - 40 pages
God Learner Sorcery - 12 pages
The Old Ways - 5 pages
Heroquesting - 26 pages
Magicians of the Imperial Age - 9 pages
Index - 1 page
Draconic Mysticism covers 9 Draconic Cults, Draconic Dances and Martial Arts, plus a bunch of new spells.
God Learner Sorcery covers the Invisible God, The Machine God, and the Goddess Switch plus spells (some related directly to heroquesting) and MechaMagic of the Clanking City.
The Old Ways covers the Storm Gods and the Sky Gods.
Heroquesting covers Runequest SIght, how to heroquest, then lists each of the storm gods and some of their myths, plus a list of deeds you can emulate as heroquests, and a list of rewards! The same goes for the Sky Gods, the Unholy Trio, and some other gods as well. This is the kind of chapter I've been longing for since I discovered RQ!
Magicians of the Imperial Age is a collection of NPCs. No stats, just nice descriptions and a couple paragraphs about serving the NPC (ie quests they will send the pc's on).
All in all this looks like one hell of a book.
Aaron - Great job! Now I can't wait for the rest of your books!!
