Magic Effect Stacking

Nowhere in MRQ that I can find explains what happens when you cast multiple copies of the same temporal spell on the same target. I know what has happened in previous copies of RQ but what happens in MRQ?

questions.
Rune Magic:
I cast Bladesharp 1 on a sword and then cast it again on the same sword, what is the final result?

I cast Bladesharp 1 and then cast Bladesharp 3 on the sword, what is the final result?

Divine Magic
I cast Shield 2 on myself and then Shield 2 on myself again, what is the final result?

I cast Shield 2 on myself and then Shield 4 on myself, what is the final result?

Sorcery
I cast Enhance STR 1 on myself and then Enhance STR 1 again, what is the final result?

I cast Enhance STR 1 on myself and then Enhance STR 7, what is the final result?

In the past effects have never stacked. If you cast Bladesharp 1 on a sword five times you get a sword with Bladesharp 1. If you cast Bladesharp 1 and 3 on a sword it has Bladesharp 3 on it. That is certainly how I intend to keep using it. It probably should be cleared up in the rules.

A good question is what happens when you cast say Bladesharp 1 and Damage Boosting 1 on a sword - different spells from different magic types with similiar effect?

I *think* they used to stack - as in the way Protection and Shield stacked. I've changed that in my house rules to have a single non-stacking rule; highest magnitude effect wins out.

Yeah, my first reaction was to let effects from different magic types stack, but especially considering the raging debate on sorcery over on Trif's board I may take your approach - the highest like effect wins out. So a Bladesharp 3 and Damage Boosting 5 on a sword would result in a +5 damage (from the Damage Boosting) +15% to hit (from the Bladesharp) weapon.
