M2 Bradley stats

Thanks Evil, my bad

Way too few suppressed counters, and given that some of the tanks can use more than one Fire Zone, 2 of those wouldn't go wrong.

we use the epic order dice for different effects, it works well so maybe instead of counters we have dice with symbols on them.

very quick look found this

im sure you can do better with a spare 5 mins :)

these are what i use for allsorts of games

Thanks for that Evil, be hard to come up with some terms for some of those pictures.... one looks like double time (all those arrows) one looks good for suppressed (target), the exclamation mark could represent reacted... those were the ones that I thought were useful as for the others...

the multiple arrows looks like the kill them, kill the all order; then there is a marker that changes your men into a white scars unit (explosion with lightning bolt); and lastlry the charge into a minefield order (arrow moving into an explosion)

Maybe GF9 will make a token for it. They're doing others...

Be sure to let us know when they are released.

Will those of us in the US be able to get these locally? Seems like a really good idea.

ah... Epic dice. Need to break the guard out again... I love that game.

Getting back to the bradley...will it only have 7 shots from the TOW?

Like 7 isn't enough :!: - let us know when anything in your Battlefield Evolution game (other than small arms/mgs) fires 7 times in a game - or lives long enough to fire 7 times 8)

Seriously though, the M901 ITV (Improved TOW Vehicle) only carries 12 - 2 in the launcher and 10 in the hull. Its only job on the battlefield is to fire TOWs.

Obviously 7 is considered an acceptable basic load.

Hhhuuuuhhh hhuuuhhh hhuuuhhh - I said load :P

Yeah...maybe in an 8 turn game. I do realise that 7 is more than enough...the question is more of a "are some weapons going to have limited shots?" question.

A post somewhere (I think it was little birds) suggested limiting the ittle bird to two hellfire rounds...that's all

I was just wondering if Mongoose would start placing the Starshiptroopers syle 1 shot rules for somethings.

Thanks for the speedy answer Hiro.

They might do it for Aircraft, but things like the Bradley and the Shadow probably won't. I mean, the shadow would only have Four shots if that was the case... (give or take)

Well, that would reduce the swarming tactics...

Nah who am I kidding...I play the corps, give me lots of shadows with unlimited chekems

Yeah, but that was my suggestion.

Ammo is a "burden" that I'm assuming Mongoose prefers to skip in favor of faster play. I would too in any case where it's over 10 shots. Anything less is reasonable to track. Especially on the Shadow. I think the lack of realism in that case hurts the game a bit. Outside of tourneys our local group will likely employ ammo in reasonable cases.

Thanks for that Paladin. You are right, limited ammo does add a level of complexity to the game and means that people will spend ltime having to count shots. Streamlining is a good idea but once you've gotten the basic rules then you should be fine with doing this (as you've suggested).

I would imagine you wouldn't need to track anything with 6 shots or more (I haven't seen a game last longer...although that mught just be me).
