LWM - PC vs PC combat

Alright folks simple question - SPECIFICALLY how would you resolve a PC vs PC combat using the LWM rules?

Who rolls? Is damage done to both players on a roll? How many rolls per round?

If I ever had PC v PC combat in LW, I would have gone wrong somewhere.

Tournaments and sparing are not Combat. I would simply have each PC make a Test and who gets the highest wins.

As PCs are the only ones making combat table rolls, I would have the highest CS rolling first, treating their opponent as the enemy on the table. Then I would have the other one rolling treating the first PC as the enemy.

They both end up doing proportionately the same amount of damage to each other.

EDIT: If there is a risk of one killing the other then going first is a big advantage so I would simply have them both roll at the same time and apply the damage from both rolls to each other simultaneously. PC fights would be quick and nasty.

Agree with Hellebore on this one, that's the way I have done it. And like Hal says, tournaments and sparring are just opposed skill tests not full blown combat.
