Looking For Calypso Class A3L Far Trader Deckplans

I do not know of any deckplans for it, I believe the crew and passenger section is the same as the standard Far Trader, with extended cargo section and larger dMay have an extrra stateroom or tworives, Jump, Manuever, and Power Plant. It may have an extra stateroom or two but I think it was created for extra Cargo, and potentially getting armor added, which is what I did in my campaign as well as a 3rd turret.

As Ian mentioned earlier, we will be reworking my CT design for MgT and presenting all versions in the one book.

The COTI thread is the CT version.

this is where the thread starts for the ship design

The deckplans seem to have been removed...
I would guess that this is because they are being reworked to MGT standard prior to being released in a commercial book (the clues are in the thread, surely?).

If the ship stats are available deck plans should be easy enough.

From the COTI thread (these are not MGT stats). So you would need to convert them, but enough information is here to get an idea of what the Calypso is configured like. The guys who put together the other ship books (for Clement sector) have done a pretty decent job. Past history tells us if they bring this out it should be decent as well!

My version of the stretched Far Trader as presented on Freelance Traveller.

This version is a multi-use version, able to carry a good load of cargo and six high passage passengers.

The modern day equivalent for this version of Far Trader are ocean going freighters that offer limited passenger accommodation for passengers whose destination coincides with the ships scheduled route.

Comments welcome
