Hi guys,

Quick update.

Book 9 is already in our warehouse, and will be going out as soon as Book 8 arrives - we are just waiting for an arrival date for 8, but it is imminent, so you will be engaging in lots of Magnamund adventuring later this month!

Book 10 is still on schedule, and willl be going to print very soon, to get it into your hands later in April. You can see the cover and preorder it here;

The title was announced, the cover artwork revealed and Joe mentionned sometime back (was it last year?) that the adventure was already written and that he was wroking on book 30. So, what's happening with it? Is it that Joe's computer is the same one that he used 10 years ago when he wrote book 28 and now he can't find a way to transfer the document to your ultramodern informatic system?

There was a majopr cock-up at the printers on Book 8 that caused Book 9 to effectively leap frog it. All resolved now, and we should be getting Book 8 through any day now. It and Book 9 will be sent out together, starting next week.

Oh, yeah, and what about book 29? We have Book 9 in our warehouse and book 8's arrival is imminent - as soon as it arrives, both books will ship!

I received Books 8 and 9 today, and from a cursory inspection, they look good. Haven't had a chance to go through in depth for errors yet.

Heh, good news: Book 8 has a rather nasty misprint - it's missing Sections 151 on from the bonus adventure with Paido. You basically can't complete the bonus adventure.

I'll say it again: Mongoose guys, you have a seriously devoted and fanatical fanbase that is willing to proofread these books for you entirely for free, and who will do a better job than your paid QA people.

Book 9 looks misprint free from my initial scan, at least from obvious misprints.

I no longer have my original versions of the Lone Wolf books. What were Zakhan Kimah's stats in the original? With the Sommerswerd, his stats are CS 39 and END 46.

Book 8 does seem to be cursed.

My copies haven't arrived yet, so I can't comment on the mysterious disappearance of section 151, but if it's the case with all copies, could you please post the missing section as errata in the forum? At least then we can finish the bonus adventure.

Just finished talking to the printers, and they have owned up to the mistake - Book 8 is being reprinted right now.

We still have a few Book 8s to go out, and we are going to carry on sending them - this problem affects only the mini-adventurek, not Lone Wolf himself (and we figure you would not want to wait to play through Book 9).

As soon as the printers have reprinted Book 8, it will be sent out to everyone who ordered. They have even offered to pick up the tab for the shipping to you

Look at it this way, fate has forced people to read your sections twice to really appreciate the writing, and many people will have a second copy to give to friends so more people see your sections
