So as Matt asked on the Planet Mongoose post today, what do we all think of the idea.

Personally as long as nothing stops the variants being played out using standardly available ships of the fleet, I have nothing against it. Seems like a good idea to me.

I agree. Anything that adds flavour to the game, can be officially proxied if need be and its/their availability allows time / opportunity to acquire, ticks all the boxes for me.

Now there's an interesting concept - does MGP have the rights to produce Traveller starships? If they do they could produce a few of these, with ACTA: NA stats (the games have similarities that could crossover), so you could do a Traveller skirmish variant article in S&P.

My mind was wandering randomly today whilst watching the F1, and it stumbled over Noble Armada and I give you one word, homologation.

You can't use a special edition mini in a game of NA unless you manufacture X of them
