Life Support Costs

I just want to make sure I've got this right.

Each stateroom costs 1000/ month or 3,000 if double occupance
PLUS
1,000 per person on board

So 1 person in a stateroom costs 2,000 total
and 2 people sharing a stateroom cost 5,000 total

(I'm starting a solo trading campaign during lockdoown!)

I believe the 3,000 for dual occupancy is the total cost, so 1,000 per room + 1,000 per occupant, for a total of 2,000 for single occupancy or 3,000 for dual.

It's the running cost table that threw me. It mentions both 300 for double occupancy and 100 per person

Life support math costs can be... challenging.

Best to pick your own numbers and go from there. Technically, since the life support equipment is supposed to be located in each individual cabin, no one IN the cabin should equal zero costs, but hey, it's just math!

What's the life support costs of a nuclear submarine?

Anything that requires energy, such as artificial gravity, the costs are subsumed in the cost of energy production and the mortgage.

So it's really the consumables.
