License for Gaim moulds

Mongoose
Just out of curiosity: what happened to the gaim models? IWM doesn't seem to sell them although the moulds where new and not worn out I guess.

The models won't fall under the expired WB-B5-license imho as the designs never appeared in the show. So you could still produce and sell them under a different name even without the license (?). Any ideas?

Cheers,
Hagen

Call me a cynic, but it seriously wouldn't surprise me if WB has inserted a clause saying that they own anything created for the B5 universe by MGP. If there's one thing the megacorps are good at, it's using IP laws to steal from the rest of society.

I fully agree here. With a high certainity WB will have such a clause in their licences, so I won't hope to see any B5 moulds for sale in the future

Hmm :? . Probably you are right. There was just a slight hope that there could be a future for some of the not-warner-bros-designs. Gaim, Abbai, Pak'ma'ra...

The Pak'Mara and Abbai were already licenced under Agents of Gaming so Warner IMO should have the rights on the designs

Well, I'm afraid that's apparently how things work. Most of the ships in the ACTA line never appeared on the show and they didn't survive the end of license. :(
