Ok, here is a plan/idea for traveller game/campaign.
Set the game outside third imperium space, foreven sector, giving the players more freedom that a game within the borders of the imperium. I am creating at least one sub sector their to play in, more will be developed if needed.
Games tech assumption are as the 3rd imperium, jump drive, fusion and so on.
All current mongoose trav books can be use for equipment, careers and so on, with the following caveats, some gear in the CSC is not 3rd imperium tech, such things as arc weapons and static weapons, so i wont allow some of those items. Cybernetics are fine as are augments from any book. Psion gear needs to be run past me first.
Psionics existence is up to you players, if you want it in, its in, if not, its not.
When creating characters you can create your home world and i will put it in the game, if you wish, or i can provide a number of worlds characters can come from, whatever you as players are happiest with.
A character can have up to six terms, but characters should have reason to be out there travelling and adventuring, so as an example an ex navy admiral wont make much sense, nor would a high ranked corporate or noble. You can of course have less terms if you want a younger character. Use what ever method you wish for character gen, just tell which one you used (points, random and so on).
If you want to start with a ship, it will be old, as per the rules for that in the CRB, the ship can be any civilian ship up to 400 displacement tons, or some of the more interesting ships like corsairs and such. Or if you wish you can design your own ship up to 400 dtons.
Game wise i will give you a choice a jobs, and the game will go from there. If you want something more specific (exploration, mercenary, trouble shooting, freelancing and so on) tell me.
If there is something you want to see in the game, or dont want to see, tell me and i will most likely included it or not included it, any ideas will be listened to, its your game
