Lessons for the Gorn

wasn't sure about how to run a gorn fleet. Would you run a tight formation with 1 large ship in middle while being surrounded by smaller ones to max out your plasmas? Run as a large moving block to dominate the center? Or run smaller pairs to surround and pick off enemies?

Not much experience regarding gorns but my enemy in current game is running them in solid order. Where my ships are zig-zagging all over the place his are flying in formation

Does give them mutual support as it's hard to surround part of his fleet and take out. Something I have been worrying thorough game that will happen to my ships!

Also plasma's generally like concentration. Shooting them all spread out is generally even less effective than other races equilavent fire pattern.

has to depend on your opponents. I am fighting fast moving (thought hampered by crits) wolverines, I'm staying clustered as he can fling a lot of defensive fire out, anything short of 15 or so plasma he;s able to neutralize with a good spread of phasers on his ships.
If I was facing less maneuvreable opponents, or those with less phasers i might set out in pairs
