Length of Chronos Attack Frigate miniature?

WereRogue

Mongoose
This should be a relatively short topic, but I appreciate any response.

I need to know how long the Chronos miniature is, preferrably in milimeters, but inches will suffice as well.

Thank you, everyone!

about 25mm Id say at a guess. Slightly more than an inch long. Its not a big mini at all.

Take a look at the crusade EA box set on the main website for a good idea of how they compare to fighter bases etc

Well, nurtz. Stupid dinky Chronos.

I was looking for a replacement for the Myrmidon, but I wanted it smaller than the Chronos (I don't know how the actual Myrmidon looks next to the Chronos), but the miniature I'm thinking about is 41mm long (just over 1.5 inches), and I think that might be too big for something designated as a "Light Combat Vessel". :(

Have you considered the 'patrol boat' or the Psicorps 'shadowcloak'? Both would work well (especially the shadowcloak actually...)

Personally I use fleet action Tethys models :)

Yeah, but the Shadowcloak is almost prohibitively expensive, and I didn't want to use something from elsewhere in the line.

Unfortunately, it looks like I'm not going to be able to get the Cold Navy miniature I was hoping for as I can't seem to find any information as to who's actually (if anyone) producing the models. :( Argh! Back to square one.

why not use some BFG Swords?

I actually did use a model from the BFG line (the Cobra destroyer), there's a thread later down: "Alt. Myrmidons - painted by WereRogue" that shows what I've converted. I just was looking for something a little more in line and a little less familiar than the BFG ships.

The Cold Navy Northhampton frigate was darn near perfect.

Cold Navy minis are currently being produced from new molds by Ravenstar Studios (http://www.ravenstarstudios.com/). They should be available again within the next few weeks, according to the owner.

Hoody freakin' hoo!!

You've just made my day, KJ! Thanks!

They've got some cool looking ships over there, actually. If I didn't already have 4 nicely painted Chronos (which I don't mind the model for, even if it is a bit tiny), I'd probably look for some replacements.

The Chronos is 44mm long, so longer than everyone here was guessing, but still only slightly longer than the miniature you were looking at.

Thanks for the measurement, Neko. I thought it was longer than most here were thinking.
