Hi all,

Anyone going to the tourney tomorrow that's arriving in Swindon by train?

I'm planning on getting there about 0810 and walking down to the Croft or maybe getting a taxi depending on the weather. Anyone coming in the same way at about the same time want to join me for the walk/taxi?

Just a suggestion for people going to the tourney - there are no shops in the immediate vicinity of the sports centre, so bring your own food and drink.

Is there not a cafeteria or anything IN the sports center (no doubt vastly overpriced...)

no its more like a school sportshall.
there is a pub just up the road that does ok food though.

Glad I saw this thread - I'd have just turned up at Mongoose Towers without thinking! May be worth bringing up this point on the main thread so other people are reminded.

btw the taxi drivers dont know where it is, atleast no one i asked lol and belive me, its a LONG walk : P

its faster to take the bus, just remember to have the right fare, i diddent doh!

Well I'll be bringing a picnic lunch, and if anyone is at the station around 8-ish keep an eye out for a fellow geek.
