Hey there,

Whenever we go quiet on any line, it usually means all our resources are being piled into something new.

Can't say too much at the moment, but. . .

We are hard at work on _two_ miniatures games based on the BF Evo rules (though scaled for more detailed skirmishes) with a third waiting in the wings. We are also looking seriously at a space combat game (based on CTA) and a fantasy skirmish game (rules unknown as yet), all of which look likely for 2010 releases.

We are sculpting new miniatures right now, as I type this, and games systems are being tweaked.

Give us a little more time, and we'll give you a wealth of miniatures fun - and S&P will be right in the front line!

Excelent news... i had a week moment and had a go at TOG and realised how much we miss EVO ..

I'll be interested to see how you get on with the 'skirmish' Evo we have planned. There is one, umm, 'setting' in particular that I think will be right up your street. . .

Nothing at all about the article I submitted. Not even a reply stating that it was received...

I am afraid we cannot answer every submission we receive (Charlotte would explode!). Please be patient - if the article is up to scratch, you will be contacted before it is used.

Just tell us, are you now or will you ever give modern BF EVO miniatures another shot?

Is one of the "new" miniatures game you are working on the Special Operations version of BF EVO you mentioned sometime ago?

whatever minatures are done, im just in hope there prepaints, one of the ebst bits about BF-evo was how simple a fully painted army was to achieve.

im pretty much retricted to prepaint games now or games that i painted minis for years ago befor my rsi hit.

I think it was the prepaints that ruined MP's hopes for miniature gaming. I mean Starship Troopers was going just fine when it wasnt being converted to a prepainted mini game.

IMO [repaints didn't kill SST. It went a long time with no news/support/etc due to a license issue (not MGP's fault), followed by an experiment with revamped rules.

The sense I got was that just as many people liked the idea of prepaints as those that didn't. I know I would have loved prepainted bugs, and I loved the MC figures. I still think MGP had some of the best modern figures available, even with the static poses. I can't stand modern soldiers in "heroic" scale.

Please tell me prepaints aren't completely canned.

BTW, Great news Matt, looking forward to hearing more.
