Knowledge: Zingarin Fencing School

I just purchased the rulebook for Agros & Zingara, and as a game master leading a rowdy band of Zingarin Freebooters, I was quite interested to finally see some hard-and-fast rules for the much-vaunted fencing skills of the Zingarin schools of combat. Now, admittedly some of the special abilities listed are fairly nice (and as GM, I'm considering eliminating the skill roll for the feat-granting abilities, just because the "improved" set of feats has always kind of annoyed me)...

...but most of the abilities seem to effect the balance of one or another of the players. Now, there is a quick blurb stating something like: "See previous new Balance rules to see why this is important", but I can't find anywhere where this is explained in more detail. I've read elsewhere that these bonuses are listed somewhere, but I haven't been able to track them down anywhere.

In short, can anyone help me out here? After all, there's been alot of buildup about the boarderline mystical, artistic, indomitable skill of the master Zingarin swordsmen... I'm looking forward to implimenting it in the game.

Thank you in advance.

Nevermind, I found it:

Balance
Fencing: Balance is important in a swordfight. An off-balance character is easy to hit and a character who retains his balance is much harder to hit. Characters compare their Balance scores. The difference between two opponents' Balance scores provides a bonus to one character's attacks and his Defence score against that character. The character with the smaller Balance score may make an opposed Balance check each round to negate the bonus for that round as a free action.

Balance Effects
Difference Between Two Balance Scores Bonus to Attacks and Defence to The Most Balanced Character
0-4 (+0)
5-10 (+1)
11-17 (+2)
18-25 (+3)
26-34 (+4)
35+ (+5)

I like the rules for fencing, you can really customize a fighting style with it. It would have been cool if there was actually a difference between the Zingaran and Aquilonian schools though, as game rules are identical.
