King of ACE trials

On my players visit to ACE during the Drinax campaign I threw in the hook from the core book or a trader fooling the Sages of ACE into believing they were worth buying from. Unfortunately the signs have been seen by the Sages as a sign that one of the PCs and the trader are destined to be the new king of ACE. has anyneused this hook? Does anyone have any good trials the Sages could put them through to determine which one is the one true king? As Tyrian raiders are a problem my first instinct was to fight a captured raider but I was thinking something more memorable may be in order, unless of course it’s staged on that platform Barin and Flash Gordon fight on in the movie.

ACE's most unusual characteristic is its exotic atmosphere. Have you considered relating the test to that? It might be fun to make the test dealing with something that uniquely relates to their home planet.
