Wouldn't such a use of AI to produce graphics not be akin to using AI for art, which is something Mongoose is against?
Absolutely not.
The coordinates of every known star in the galaxy are free to download. You need a 3D graphics engine, not generative AI, to project those coordinates as a selectable dot. Searchable? The database structure of your choice. Distance between two dots? Simple math.
No AI required.

Sounds right to me. However, I’m seeing companies try to integrate AI into as many products as possible. A CAD program is not AI, but what happens when they start building AI directly into new CAD programs? Would it become so easy to disguise the use of AI to make any aversion to its use unenforceable?

I’m not looking forward to the near-future on this issue.

That may be true, but it is not the proposal that Sygtrygg was reacting to. Maybe you meant to reply to Condottiere, who proposed the use of AI?
