Is there a Black kingdom setting book?

I know about Tales, but that seems to be a scenario book, not a setting book. Was one released? Or Kush, or Darfar, or any of them???

Thanks for any knowledge.

Nope, but Return to the Road of Kings holds a lot of information on the Black Kingdoms that weren't present in the original Road of Kings book. There are some 80 pages of new material, mostly on the Black Kingdoms. In the somewhat underrated Conan Compendium (a collection of early S&P articles and adventures), you'll find an article on the Spirit Eaters of Darfar, along with a Black Kingdoms adventure.

I suppose the next question is why not? The Black kingdoms, or Kush would seem to be a better place to have an adventure than say Khitai.

All depends I would say. I am guessing there will be something in the pipeline.

For myself I like the Khitai setting and it works very well . That said I would love to see more about the Black Kingdoms.

Personally I think that a more Black Kingdoms would be good. It would give more of a REH feel. Considering that REH did not write any stories set in the far-east for Conan, this would make sense.

Id love the chance to be able to play in either. Really. The Conan setting just oozes the possibilities of playing in either one.

I agree Scorpion13 - Khitai or the Black Kingdoms - both have massive potential for adventures. Even Mu. The world created by REH is second to none with potential for adventures and probably the biggest reason the Conan RPG has had the staying power of over 30 books published so far - and the end is not even in sight. How cool is that?

For inspiration, I suggest the Imaro novels and its world, Nyumbani.

EDIT: Nyumbani article even says: "The world of Nyumbani is set thousands of years ago in an alternate Africa, probably about the same time as the Hyborian Age."

Atlas Games has also released Nyambe, a fine-looking historical-fantasy d20 rpg set in Africa.

If I ran a S&S game set in (pseudo-)Africa, I'd use those. YMMV.
