IRON WIND MINIATURES!

Hopefully some of the moulds are broke and have to be remade.
The Olympus is now too small, it's a joke
Sentri are to small as well.
Myrimdon needs to be made more EA like.
Adira & Liati needs to be done more like the way i did them.

I like the small Olympus, actually seems to scale with the rest of the ships.

I'm guessing the best quality moulds will be the ones Mongoose made themselves (particularly their newest ones) as they have seen the least use.

That is doubtful as the single worst model I have *ever* had to deal with from any miniatures company in 20+ years is the current version Drakh Mothership. It literally has a 1/8" gap around the entire body, massive amounts of excess metal (not just flash), and the head/prow piece does not fit together with the rest of the hull. I mean it when I say absolute worst ever, and it's one of the newer Mongoose figs (and I have 3 of them, all with the same problems).

Cheers, Gary

I must agree. The first G'Vrahn that I purchased was a well cast model. Since then I've been through 3 more just trying to find another good one. The three have the same problem. A significant amount of detail ans some of the metal is missing. It looks like the mold wasn't properly coated before casting. I guess that it's more of a quality issue.

My last Omegas, PSI Corps Motherships and G'Quans had so much flesh on them that I could have made some Frazi and Starfuries out of them.

Hopefully we will see an increase in quality across the board. The few left players in Germany I know were very disappointed by the last run of minis before the shut down.

At least there should be somebody again to import the minis to Germany and distribure them.
I found only one shop who had a small stock left.

Our LGS got a bad taste in the mouth from all of the B5 comings and goings. I hope to change their mind on the matter...

Yeah, I will have to work hard at our club to get the game running again. The first good step would be to make the minis better available. I remember the days when it took weeks to get ships.

Truth be told, they soured on a certain company as a whole with a few other problems as well (getting stuck with stock, the effective destruction of whole lines of games, etc.)

Yeah, what I said, "comings and goings".
