Emperor Mongoose
Just easier to do it this way. :)

Introduction –
• Pg 2 - Reference to Ships Locker does not belong in HG. It is in the CRB, and that is where it should be.
• Pg 3 – In the paragraph for Carrier Squadrons, it jumps from ’10 to 30ton’ all the way up to ’10,000’ ton range. There should be a better gradient between carriers and battle tenders. The old rule of thumb was division between spaceships and spacecraft. So a carrier would take on ships of 100 tons or less, while a battle tender would carry ships greater than 100 tons.
• Pg 4 – Tanker Squadrons – The description is in error. It makes it sound like a single tanker might carry “millions” of tons of hydrogen. The reference to millions should be removed and replaced with something like “the huge amount”, or “the large quantities”. Their vulnerability lies in the fact that they are typically lightly armed (though they could easily be armed and armored).
• Pg 4 – Small Craft – The descriptions of ‘bomber’ and ‘torpedo boat’ are potentially confusing. Bombers should really be called Attack boats, which carry heavier weapons and armor than fighters and often trade maneuverability for heavy hitting power. There really should NOT be any space bombers. Torpedo boats can also be called missile boats, if they are equipped with large numbers of missiles instead of torpedoes as their primary attack weapons.
• Pg 4 – Star Ships – The description is redundant, “A fast ship designed to be fast enough..” Two fast’s in five words? Drop the first ‘fast’.
• Pg 4 – Star Ships – The description of Q-ship is messy. It should read “A civilian vessel…”. No need to reference types of civilian vessel’s, they are all the same in this instance.
• Pg 4 – Star ships – Drop the ‘dedicated’ in the description. A ship that carries passengers and/or freight isn’t “dedicated” to carrying both…
• Pg 4 – Star Ships – For the Liner description, change to read, “A ship dedicated to carrying passengers in a degree of comfort”. Long distances implies you wouldn’t have in-system liners that have 2-3 day legs on their trips between planets and stations.
• Pg 4 – Military ships – Cutters are 50 ton small craft, not hundred(s) ton escort class ships. The cutter classification should be changed to Escort, to clear up the confusion with their smaller bretheren.
• Pg 4 – Military ships – The description should reference that an SDB trades jump drive and jump fuel tonnage for more armor and heavier weapons. And that makes it perfect for the defense of a system - remember that SDB’s get moved around to leave surprises for potential attackers.
• Pg 4 – Military Ships – Drop ‘A flying barracks’, as that is incorrect. Troopships aren't meant to be barracks, just transport craft. Barracks implies a dormitory.
• Pg 4 – Capital Ships – Light Cruisers are smaller, lightly armed and armored versions of heavier cruisers. They are intended to bridge the gap between destroyers and cruisers, intended to fulfill the role of a cruiser while keeping to a budget.
• Pg 4 – Capital Ships – Heavy cruisers are larger, carry heavier weaponry and more armor than light cruisers.
• Pg 4 – Capital Ships – Uh, the Battle of Jutland proved that cruisers of any size and armor factor DO NOT belong in the line of battle. Armored cruisers really don’t have a place in the modern battlefield. This term should really be dropped from the list.
• Pg 5 – Capital Ships – Assault carriers really make no sense in the Traveller Universe, at least not as described herein. Assault carriers really should be fleet carriers that carry additional defense and armor to enable them to deploy their small craft closer to a battle with a higher chance of survival than a fleet carrier. In general all classes of carriers carry minimal armor and primarily defensive weaponry because their primary job is to carry and support fighter craft during a battle.
• Pg 5 – Capital Ships – Drop ‘vast’ from the description. If anything a battle tender is large, but not ‘vast’.
• Pg 5 – Capital Ships – There is a line break between Battle Rider and Battleship. This does not follow the rest of the section from a formatting view.
• Pg 5 – Capital Ship – Battlecruisers are actually smaller than battleships, and fill a tonnage role between battleships and heavy cruisers. Also, they aren’t meant to fight battleships directly by themselves (Remember Jutland!). They are designed to kill cruisers and essentially be a ship of the line where the firepower or tonnage of a battleship is not required. Also battlecruisers should be listed before battleships, as we are going up in tonnage in the other descriptions.
• Pg 5 – Capital Ship – Dreadnoughts aren’t really ‘oversized’ battleships. Dreadnoughts exist to bring the largest weapons to bear, and whose sole purpose is to kill other capital ships.

Armoured and protected cruisers are probably legacies from tech level eleven; panzerschiffs would be their closest relatives, which in theory would be overarmed to deal with the previous (if modernized) generation of major combatants.
