know they are doomed to extinction are... shall we say specious? Unless you really do know something the general public doesn't, obviously. I suspect not, but you can prove me wrong of course.
And on to my original point about Fire Industries, even if Rakcham does go down, I don't think putting up a
small British company set on making resin models (that has yet to produce much anything besides promises) counts as an
economic backup plan of any sort. Oh, but then again you didn't infer it was, Fire Industries is just there to "save face". And besides, Rackham executives are dumbest in the industry so making such turns is right up their alley.

As a more to the subject at hand kind of comment, I also seem to recall a promise to keep the current line up for as long as there's reasonable demand, or some such. Maybe it was more like "indefinitely" tho.
