ATM seems like Wave 1 models are only as invidual sales. I would presume wave 2 comes later and with that warrior for example.

agreed, just remember this game is still only a couple of months old. I am sure that whilst we all want to be able to buy individual mini's, we are much more intrested in new units and vehicles being released.

Speak for yourself, I for one want singles to be release alongside each Wave when it comes out. NOT only that, but I wish they would have a limited number of unpainted, unassembled packs we could buy directly from MP with each release.

Makes moding the models much easier.

All nice things, but they will come at a cost for MGP in what else they can produce...

problem i see there us its probably more exspensive to pick part to build a kit than it is to assemble it from my stores exsperiance. if it takes an assembly line 1 min to construct the the modle and it take 3 mins to pull the parts to send out an unbuilt kit then a further 1 min to pack your be paying a premuim for such a service, be cheaper to buy it painted disasemble it and spray it grey.

sounds crazy but if its all done in china you can probably get an hours work out of an asembly line for the same cost as a guy in the uk reading the order that came in via internet sales.

for example due when i ran a third rail section a trolly collector was around £250 while the parts came to £600 due to picking time reason is to pick an order for non production is done to a picking time while an order done from a build up has picking time cancled out due to fact that several are to be made, and different staf were envolved, every time i did a job it was invoiced out at £95 an hour, wish i earnt that but still.

i think if this game carries on being popular i can see that MGP may get built unpainted versions sent over as and when but just as a batch release once there gone there gone, but i think your looking a long time down the road and at a point when they wish to produce more than the painting machines and staf can cope with or as part of a special article on different colour schemes. but things as they are within china industry it would have to be an entire batch and not say 10% of a batch due to the speed at wich these factories churn stuff out. UK industry (cant speak for american) produce much small batches so a little specialisation can come in but in respect we are also alot more exspensive, and i cant see many brits prepared to paint figs all day no matter how good min wage is.

I think the excuses you gave me, are a stretch. I did say limited number, you don't have to package them. Just take the 1st 50 or 100 kits stuff them in a bag, and make them available online for modelers.

It ain't rocket science.

time costing is larger than product costing that was my point, and at the moment id rather have the next 8 batches than a limited run of one wave when if people are desperate enough to repaint them they can any way, cost wise diferance would be pennys/cents.... for stock that would possably sitaround as a batch would have to be a large enough amount to make it worth while.

it takes longer to pick them kits up than to possably paint the entire same amount ! is that cost effective ? and if your using people not machines to inturupt the batch your adding costs !!! people cost money evan in china
