I'd still have hoped the Planet Killer would have appeared rules wise with a miniature possibly appearing later, but even if Mongoose decided not to make a model, where would be the loss in home made and Fleet Action models only?Wulf Corbett said:It was commented during Armageddon playtesting that a major reason why there was no VPK in that book was the lack of a good mini (the AoG one being considered inadequate).
There was no answer when I asked when the Shadow Cloud mini would be appearing...

Take it from one who has the thing - it IS inadequate. Looks like a little lost lamb among the other vorlon minis...Wulf Corbett said:It was commented during Armageddon playtesting that a major reason why there was no VPK in that book was the lack of a good mini (the AoG one being considered inadequate).
I always used a black silk scarf for the cloud, back in the AoG days. Those hexes covered by the silk were the cloud... and woe to anyone who entered one of them, as the missiles were a killer...Wulf Corbett said:There was no answer when I asked when the Shadow Cloud mini would be appearing...
I also have one, and, frankly, it's fine by me. It was, as I remember, produced to the Space Station scale, not FA scale, so it's size is irrelevant. Whole PLANETS are no more than 1" in diameter, so it's bigger than a planet...ShadowScout said:Take it from one who has the thing - it IS inadequate. And as to the VPK if they do that then they should do a Vorlon Dreadnought & a Shadow Dreadnought
