I am confused... current/forthcoming releases?

The Mongoose website indicates that LBB1:Mercenary and JD:Cursed Earth are both forthcoming, and Merchant Prince is out. However, last week, I went to my FLGS (The Compleat Strategist, NYC <plug, plug>), and picked up the Reft Sector sourcebook, LBB1:Mercenary and JD:Cursed Earth - but no Merchant Prince. Has the Big Apple managed to slip sideways in time to an alternate reality in which the publication order is not what is shown on the Mongoose website?

Well, yes... but usually it appears relatively congruent to everyone else's with respect to product releases...

Presumably, yes, except that the errata have ostensibly been applied. I haven't checked LBB:Merc yet to confirm.

It is possible Merchant Prince had sold out before you got there - it came out a little before Cursed Earth and the LBB.

Extremely unlikely, as I have an arrangement with them - when ANYTHING Traveller comes in, from any vendor, and including Traveller ruleset stuff not OTU (i.e., the B5Trav, Judge Dredd, and Strontium Dog - so far), they hold one for me.

I'm having the same problem with my local Strat store. Reft and LBB1 just arrived here, but no Merchant Prince. It maybe an issue with the distributor.

Or a bunch of Traveller pirates pillaged the delivery truck. You know the ones that some Traveller fans say can not exist for economic or technical reasons. :wink:

Has any FLGS in North America receive Merchant Prince? IIRC only those in UK or mailorder (Mongoose, Amazon, etc) got thier copies.

Was there either a lot of pre-orders or a small print run?
