Hurr Gunship

If I´m not mistaken, the paks get one, and other League fleets can use the regular Hurr gunship in mixed fleets; at least that´s how I remember from some thread a while back... (can´t remember WHICH thread of course, so it´s still a guess...)

yup, thats right, I dunno which thread either.

people "could" field an all Hurr fleet, but it would just be gunships!!

Well according to the ships fluff the Hurr have no standardised designs and so any military ship they build is a "gunship".

So a Hurr fleet would consist all of gunships, its just that none of them may look the same...

Sounds like great conversion opportunities, actually - a bit like the Raiders.

Well, fielding a combined Hurr/Raiders fleet could be fun miniature-wise...

on the old hurr thread someone said something about three hulls, on which all hurr ships were based on, so they must have a lot of variants, could make hurr ship recognition very hard!

That was the AoG explanation.

My comment was based on this, taken from the model entry on the main site:
Another class of ship that varies from vessel to vessel, the Hurr are not restricted to hull chassis designs when they decide to build their naval warships. From jagged edged corvette-esque runners to cylindrical horrors that sail through the Republic’s small borders, the term ‘gunship’ is the only thing appropriate to title them all. Bristling with ammunition-wasting ballistic cannons, the Hurr are happy to live uncomfortably and dangerously within these ships if it means they can put just a few more guns in the finished product.

I think it's fun to have a single ship from some of the races that will never get the full fleet treatment. Adds some extra flavor.

That description more befits AOG's Grome, lol.

The Hurr originally had a few flexible core ships in the "Militaries of the League: 2" supplement from Agents of Gaming. The Goose could easily farm core fleets for another 7 races (Hurr, Hyach, Cascor, Ipsha, Korr-Lyan, Torrata, Grome) from that book if they wanted.

Right then, I like the looks of the Hurr Gunship, and I like the stats, too. So much so that I thought about picking a couple up. But man if they are not a bit pricey. I think this is definite wish list stuff there.
