How to tell if my Core Rulebook is the latest?

Hi all,

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm under the impression that there has been a reprint of the Traveller Core Rulebook this year. I believe it contains corrected errata.

I just bought a new copy of the rulebook. Is there a way to tell whether mine is the newest edition?

Mine is 2008 but I don't see any reference such as X Edition or X Printing or REVISED.

I think the major thing was that they cleaned up the layout and art a bit with new printings. The rules are pretty much the same though - so don’t sweat it.

Just different artwork and some text layout and the chargen flowchart was tweaked.

I found a helpful note in the errata document at Don's Traveller Page:

The Player’s Guide (travpg.pdf) contains rules changes, and there are two documents of corrections for ship designs and deck plans (travdeckplanspt1.pdf and travdeckplanspt2.pdf). These were all included in later printings of the Traveller Core Rulebook. (Those printings can be identified by Will Chapman’s credit for Additional Layout in the credits.)
