How nasty is it that A Judge on A Planet with 1 of the most nasty legal systems in The Universe gives his world that if he pleads guilty the criminal won't be killed by any man, beast or weapon, but didn't say the guy won't be killed someway that's never been done before in this sector and has him executed by locking him in a room and letting a combination of hunger, thirst and mental stress killed
