How can I clean the book?

The leather bound is full of treads and dirt. How should I clean it?

the sticker made some bad dirt on mine also ...

I use a Xyron Adhesive Eraser to remove residue left by stickers...I've heard Goo Gone also works well.

First off I would try a slightly damp cloth. Perfectly OK for the leather covers, although I wouldn't try it for the Glorantha books.

You should find furniture polish works as well!

Oe tip to prevent future problems:

I've gotten some of those stretchable book covers from my local stationery store (they mostly carry them for students to cover their textbooks). You stretch them over the front and back cover and they wrap around to cover the spine.

Not only do they protect your covers from dirt and preserve the gold runes from wear, they also make it really easy to spot which book is yours!
