How about more Lankhmar love?

Well both the TSR and our map both come from a map that was drawn prior to the release of the board game (one of the reasons for their similarities).

Thanks or clearing that up for me. I've asked about it several times and received no response, only a vacuous silence that felt like guilt because you'd ripped it off.

I probably just missed your question. Glad to have finally replied to it though!

It's such a good map that not producing a version of it for use in gameplay seems like a missed trick to me. We all love good maps...
Actually, when I run a Lankhmar game I always use the map from that old board game. The map is full color, is made on some sort of tear-resistant plastic, has hex grids superimposed on it, and is in general an excellent resource.

Mongoose should make maps like this!

And does Lankhmar even have any links on their main store page? Maybe I missed it somewhere... :?

Yes, we need more Lankhmar love!

I'd say we need a Lankhmar Companion with all the crunchy bits that where not in the corebook (and in Newhon).

I mean...

- Stats for the characters of the stories!
- Stats for generic Lankhmarian NPC (e.g. novice thief, fat merchant, church raketeer, haggard looking priest, unctuous priest, dancer, thug, mingol sailor, guardsman, etc.)
- Rules for making guilds interesting (adapted from the GM's guide)
- A lot of stuff on the Thieves Guild, with floorplans of the guild
- More on cults with some sample temples and plot hooks
- More on the city sewers and Lankhmar Below!
- More on magic: more black magic spells, white mages, the ice magic of Kakkht, Kleshite Earth magic, etc.
- Princess Frixx and her elemental realm of air
- Symorgians as monsters and more on Symorgia's magic
