Historia Rodentia

Any idea where I can buy "Brushfire - Historia Rodentia" in the UK ? (i.e. the main wargame rulebook)

We unfortunately do not have any stockists in the UK, we have been attempting to get one with little success for some time now.

We do ship to the UK though, and the PDF is up on Wargame Vault.

Maybe Mongoose could act as your stockist..... Matt?

We're currently hard at work on making sure you won't have to wait too long for the 2nd Historia Rodentia book. The 2nd book only covers two factions from Brushfire, but still manages to add another 17 species. Axony features a populace that Barks, Meows, Oinks, and Quacks; where-as Zabar features folks like this guy:

'The Boar Wars' includes additions to all three of our subsystems from Historia Rodentia, loads of fluff on Axony & Zabar and more. :)

Our Matthew (As opposed to Mongoose's Matthew) is also working on an introductory adventure, for release right around the time Historia Rodentia hits store shelves.

The PDF is now available, and the print version should be in stores soon!

I'm very tempted,

My main problem would be that my gaming group wouldn't like the 'furry' aspect of the game. :(

How easy would it be to transfer the Political & Exemplarism systems into another Legend setting, say Vikings or Pirates?

Fairly easy, you should be able to easily translate anything in the book to another setting. I'm sure the Firearms rules will be pretty popular. :)

And we tried our best to not make things "Furry", playing a Badger or Mouse is no different then playing an Elf or a Dwarf. :)

If your in the Jacksonville, FL area (or can make it!).. Next month at Ancient City Con one of our playtesters is going to be running 2 sessions of Historia Rodentia.

Additionally, we're working on getting some last minute Historia Rodentia sessions at Gen Con; Matthew Whitehouse and I will also be lurking around the Mongoose Publishing booth during the weekend if you'd like to discuss the setting and our plans. :)

I'm gonna buy this when you have print copies in, but I want to do it by popping in and handing over cash so as to avoid the five pound postage cost.

...only I can't find your address anywhere.....lol

Help please? :)

For On The Lamb, or for Mongoose?

Mongoose is located at:
52-54 Cricklade Road
Swindon
Wilts
SN2 8AF
United Kingdom

On The Lamb is located in Florida, across the pond... and we just have a home office atm. :)

That's the address I needed :)

Thanks Cyporiean.

I live all of 30 miles, or 50 minutes away, but often pass that way for work and other things.....Any idea what their opening days and hours are?? :D

You know that little link that says Contact Us on the Home page that's required by UK law for web sites that should provide a mailing address?

Funnily enough that leads to a page with this address and a link to directions, their phone number etc. etc.

We are open normal office hours (you are always welcome if you want to swing by and pick something up!) and we have Club Mongoose running every second Saturday of each month, where we play anything and everything Mongoose!

Sam, You should have gone to Specsavers. The address is about 2.5 inches high in the middle of the page :D

I think you may be right LOL.

I think my brain shut out the bottom half of the page because I swear all I saw was the mass splurdge of email stuff (and forum bits) at the top.

LMAO.... damn I think I wasted two grand on the lazer eye surgery I had ten years ago...... hahahaha
