High and Dry -> Project Steel

Mongoose
The High and Dry adventure makes several references to it being a lead in to something called Project Steel...it sounded like it was going to be a series of modules in the Marches Adventure line, similar to the Reach Adventure line.

Is this still in the works? I have been holding off on using that adventure so that I could take advantage of using all of them in sequence.

Thanks.

Project Steel was an adventure for the first edition of Mongoose Traveller. I do not know whether it will be re-published for the second edition.

It's not on the release schedule for this year, certainly, though it's clearly somewhere on the to-do list. Personally, I transplanted Walston to the Trojan Reach and ran it there (I put it to the upper-right of Theev, others have suggested dropping it on top of Pandora instead).

Where did you go next from there? What adventures did you feed into?

I have run other games for many years, but this is my first version of Traveller, and I am still feeling my way around.

Early days; I've dropped them straight into Marooned on Marduk (actually Chalchiutlicue), largely because I didn't have anything else planned, but we haven't got far into it yet. I'll give them plot hooks for Theories of Everything and Priates of Drinax (I can run that from the free 1e sourcebooks) after that, at the least, and see which way they jump. I'm new to both Traveller and running games, so I'm leaning heavily on pre-published material at the moment.

I see Chalchiutlicue and Marduk are fairly close to one another...may I ask why the relocation?

'cos they were in Chalchiutlicue and I fancied dropping it on them right then. They haven't gotten the High'n'Dry back to the Scout Service yet, and they have to do it in a few months or risk not being able to take off, so being stranded for any length of time will give them cause to worry a little.

It didn't look like moving it around was going to be an issue. Similarly, the Calixcuel Incident looks like it could be run on any world with plenty of water.

I ran High and Dry followed by The Bronze Case. I was then leading them to Adventure on Mithril followed by Safari Ship. I've changed my mind and going to have a misjump land them in Tripwire which will lead pretty much into the Fifth Frontier War.
