Help with a character concept

I was contemplating a character that I might like to play... Truth be told, I just watched Nobody (the movie) and it was very fun. <SPOILER> In the movie, the main character is an "Auditor", which in that world is a "trouble shooter" that has a "... very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you."
Which career do you think best portrays this?
Basically, the character is going to have a storied background (hopefully) and now he works as a mechanic on ships.

Any thoughts would be gratefully accepted.

I think Rogue (Enforcer) also works well. You might have to reflavor some of the events to be more intelligence agency focused, but the skills and progression fit.

Maybe the answer is Citizen. Especially a Citizen following the 'Corporate' assignment. That is where most of the auditors usually are.
