[Hawkmoon] Secrets of TE posponed, what about Castle Brass?

Sabbak

Mongoose
Everything's in the subject...

Secrets of Tragic Europe has been pushed to march but Castle Brass disapeared.
What's up?

Is the "Technical guide" allways scheduled for a may release?

Hi there,

Castle Brass is being worked on right now (it had some re-writes done so as to include mass combat). The release schedule will be updated soon.

Well, stuff added, rather than actual rewrites... but as Matthew says. It's in prep.

Looking forward to seeng it myself.

Thank you for the answer!
It's nice to have the Mongoose staff answering quickly this kind of existencial questions!
;-)

Are the mass combat rules the same as those presented in Granbretan and in the Elric companion?
I think I might be a bit disappointed if the page count was being upped by the addition of previously published material.
On a high note though, I have just noticed two new titles in the upcoming releases, "The Hawkmoon Technical Guide" and "Dream Realms" for Elric.
WaaaaaaHeeeyyyyy!!!!!!
Best set money aside now though, as am expecting new addition to family at end of summer and then can kiss goodbye to spare cash. :)

The mass combat rules are not being duplicated - its unit stats for Kamarg forces.

Now that is good news. Thanks for the clear up Loz.
Are there stats for Von Villach and Mahtan Juste? Have you done anything with bullfighting?
Is there going to be a map of the Kamarg in it, or of the interior of Castle Brass? I am really hyped at the amount of attention Hawkmoon seems to finally be getting after years in the shadow of Elric based games.(Although, I cannot get enough of those either) :)

Mahtan Juste, Pons Yachar and others are statted. Bullfighting is covered to a certain degree but not in huge depth.

The Kamarg, Aigues Mortes and Castle Brass all have maps and are fully detailed, with NPCs. You should have everything you need to run a campaign in the region without any issues.

Sounds really good Loz.
On a slightly different note. I have an organisation of my own devising in place for an upcoming Hawkmoon campaign. I have named this organisation "Sentinelle". It consists of a fairly informal network of spies and agents employed by Bowgentle to provide information on the growth of Granbretan's influence and intention in Europe in the pre invasion days. Count Brass of course is unaware of their existence but given Bowgentle's obvious dislike and distrust of the Dark Empire,do you think that such an organisation would be feasible? Have you ever alluded to anything similar?

I'm sure it would be feasible. Both Brass and Bowgentle are well-travelled and well-connected. What's more, it will slot right at home into 'Castle Brass' too. Its very apt.

Perhaps you should consider developing and writing up the group for S&P?
