Have Rules, No Stats...

Thanks for that site Hiro, love it!

I found this video recently, the US Army's version of the box of truth. I was amazed at the penetration difference between the 5.56 and the 7.62.
Plus it has the cheezy military film narrator-voice that's been around since Duck and Cover.

Concealment does NOT equal cover

that's what i'm talking about:)

And remember

RC, I posted that back in November, but it's still fun to watch. Good old 'Ma Deuce.' Wasn't the video in two parts? As a bit of trivia btw, someone messed up when the video was made, and the M-240G "score sheet" was used twice in a row. Look at the score sheet after they fire the next weapon after the M-240G, which is the M-2 .50 cal. and see what the weapon description is  . Hint: It's still the M-240G...

I hadn't seen this new "toy" though. You gotta watch this vid  .

Oh, maybe this thing should be in the Starship Trooper Forum, eh? This technology is the closest thing in reality to ever make me believe massively oversized weapons might really be possible to deploy with infantry. All of those gaming minis with over-sized guns suddenly don't seem so ridiculous now. Oh, and when somebody asks you if anything good has come out of the money spent on space research, show them this movie, heh.

Yes, I just saw that one! Interesting concept, and always fun to watch someone get knocked on their butt. :D

That is actually an undocumented feature that forces the user to drop and take cover after shooting instead of standing exposed watching the shot.

Hey Hiro, nice MEA squad, the picture looked real authentic (spelling?)...

But didn't you say there were two pics? If so, then where's the other one?

And think you can do one for a swedish infantry squad?

There was multiple and there was a vote, Kristovich.

And yes, I think I could do one for the Swedes. Do you have a squad Organization Chart handy?

Looks good. Is this something you plan to do through the rest of the game or just good fun until launch time? [still confused and too lazy to read back through 9 pages to find the answer.]

I'm pretty sure I plan to make custom cards. Eventually I'll try making an abbreviated card set with Trait like lines instead of what we currently have, since I trust people enough to not require a novel on the back of a card.

Umm, not one to send directly so to speak. Though I'll send you a PM about it later!

Don't bring out a newspaper now, but I don't get what you mean

That last one wasn't a Swedish infantry squad?

One might think so, but then one has to consider the lack of desert we have up here

Ok folks... We have the following left:

- PLA Type 99 Tank
- USMC M1A2 TUSK Tank
- EFTF British Army Infantry

Which one would you like done next?

Swedes of course!

Failing that, the Brits.
