Ive heard several people make mention of this special rule the maximus gets but I've looked in my fleet book and cant see it? Am I just going blind or was it removed after the playtest phase? Or are people jst reffering to the escort trait?

ah right I was looking for something on the Maximus entry, will have a read through when I get home but out of curiosity (and impatience) can someone tell me what the rule actually does?

if there any other ships on other fleets with this trait.??? or are the centauri the only race with this useful trait? i don´t have looked about this in the fleet list....

the centauri onlyget this, and as standard only the maximus has it, however in a campaign its something that other ships can gain.

i have noticed it.....no other ship have it.
sadly....an EA ship with this trait would be nice.....but on the other side, the EA has enough Interceptors and anti fighter ships. 8)

true but the centauri need this, none of their big ships have interceptors at all now. some of the smaller ones have a single one but mostly they rely on maximus for interceptors and AF.
the EA as you said dont really need either from a supporitng ship

any ship with the escort trait and interceptors can lend its interceptors to protect a friendly ship within 8"
