Thanks homeboy. I am an adult, and I have a girlfriend. I don't see how that is relevant. Have you ever seen a comedy show? Have you ever seen Chapelle show? Are you able to laugh at yourself? I am. You gotta look at the context. When Chapelle is doing a comedy act, he says some pretty racist things. They are funny as hell! Now does that mean that I go around calling black people niggers because I think Chapelle is funny? Absolutly not! The same is true for other forms of comedy. If it's offensive to you, don't listen. Is anyone making you? Or was it a choise on your part? Mabey when you have a kid, you will develop a sence of humor, and get over yourself.

What an interesting thread for a nooby to come in on. This reminds me of the whole flap over Avalanche Press's RPG supplements of some several years ago. They featured rather buxom looking women in scanty costumes. The responses ranged from PC Man-Bashing to some very thoughtful and thought provoking takes on why this sort of thing sells (and sell it does). BTW, I put Loz Whitaker's comments in the latter category and while I'm not in 100% agreement with him, I'm with him on a number of points. I certainly respect his position as well his game writing.
For the record, I have seen the drawing in question. It did nothing for me one way or the other but then I'm familiar with Glorantha and the Morocanth. However, I can see where someone who is not familiar with the Morocanth would look at that picture and be offended.
Although they have stopped publishing RPG supplements, Avalanche Press still does the "cheesecake". Go to their website at www.avalanchepress.com and you'll see an advert for their "Queen of the Celts" board wargame. Click on the "pinup" version and take a look. But be warned, depending on where you are acessing from, this could be NSFW.
Now I have studied Romano-Celtic History and while I do know that Boudicca like many of her contemporaries went into battle topless, I doubt very seriously if she looked anything like that.

We had already made sure that the sensitive souls wouldn't stumble over it accidentally, but NO, that was not enough...
After they'd pestered Greg with how offended they felt by it, we had to remove the full drawing from the site entirely.

Been looking for artists who are currently doing line illustrations for RQ/Glorantha. Been having a hard time contacting these folks...?
In the dim past, there was a set of sihlouette cardstock 'miniatures' that came with various RQ supplements. Does anyone know a place where these can be seen and downloaded?
I'm attempting to put together a reprint of my 1984 PANTHEONS [a dice and card game using the runes] and could really use a couple of artist contacts. I've looked at the four galleries in the fan art section alluded to above, but I don't think any of them are quite what I'm looking for, though the 'Malvegil' by Thoresen might be a good look for dtp artwork.
Does anybody know how to get ahold of him or any other RQ artists? If so, please give them my direct contact information, I could really use some help on this project.

Any fan writers out there? If I'm going to toss out this little redo, I might as well include the scenario stuff. This was all written from the RQII frame of reference and includes characters from GRIFFIN MOUNTAIN and QUESTWORLD. I haven't touched RQ for 15 years, but I am aware that many changes have been made and I would be interested in contacting someone who would like to tackle a short scenario/short rules section to cover the RUNE DICE part of the game [it was originally intended that the dice become an active part of the game system].

The fellows at BAT GRAPHICS have thrown in with me and are doing gorgeous work on PANTHEONS. Looking forward to a December-January release. However, this will be a VERY limited release. Probably only 25-50 sets. It will be a Limited Edition 1st Printing [numbered].
Still looking for someone interested getting a free copy by helping us with the scenario writing....
