Coming April 21! A new Clement Sector adventure!

The race is on! The Slide is a pirate route leading out of Clement Sector and into the wild untamed wilderness on the ragged edge. Pirates use it to get from one end of Clement Sector to another to avoid planetary navies. Ever so often though, the pirates hold a race to see who can get from one end of The Slide to the other. Do it the fastest and you win a huge prize and the glory of being the winner of The Slide Run.

But beware! The race is no holds barred. Your opponents are not only trying to be faster than you but also trying to kill you!

The Slide Run is a no-holds barred race run by pirates along a route leaving the civilized areas of Clement Sector into the wilds of Tranquility and Ptolemy Sectors and then back to the colonies in Ariel Sector. When they say "the only rule is that the first one to the finish wins", they aren't kidding.

Here we see the Bloodletter, a Demon-class lembus, firing into the side of Hermes, a Rucker-class merchant, as they approach the Zimm point. If you can't outrun them, then take them down!

The Slide is an adventure campaign for use with the Clement Sector RPG setting. Clement Sector uses a modified version of the Cepheus Engine rules (called Clement Sector: The Rules). The adventure could easily be adapted to other science fiction role-playing games and settings.

The Slide will be available in PDF on April 21.

The Slide is a pirate route leading from the Winston Subsector of Clement Sector to the Peel Subsector of Ariel Sector.  The route runs through the wild untamed subsectors along the trailing edge of the colonized subsectors.  It is a dangerous proposition for the best of ships and crews.

Ever so often though, the pirates hold a race: The Slide Run.  Who can not only beat the odds of The Slide but also the other racers?  It's a no holds barred free for all where the only rule is that whoever gets to the end first is the winner!  The other crews will use subterfuge, speed, and violence to beat you!

Can you do it?  Are you brave enough to attempt The Slide?

The Slide comes with instructions on how to run the race, detailed information on the systems along the route, your twelve opponents, your ship, and nine pre-generated characters.  Everything you need to take your players on a grand adventure!

Start your drives.  The race is about to begin.
