German MGT Adventures

Mongoose
Some info for the German Traveller fans:

Traveller fans from the Fundus Ludi forum have written two short intro-
ductory adventures for Mongoose Traveller, Commando Raid (2 parts)
and Blockade Runners.

Both can be downloaded from the download section of the 13 Mann Ver-
lag, the German publisher of Traveller:
http://traveller-rpg.de/?page_id=22

There are also a number of expanded event tables for the core rulebook
careers, and more material is "under construction".

By the way, more Traveller stuff and a small community of Traveller fans
can be found at the Fundus Ludi forum:

Looks great...IF I could read German :)

I suppose an English translation would not be forthcoming would it? :)

Unfortunately, no - at least not in the near future, I think. :(

The focus currently is on creating some more material to enable German
Traveller fans to start playing the game. :)

oh well, always on the lookout for new materials and that Blockade Runner adventure looks sweet...I think :)

Another free German MGT adventure can now be downloaded from the
download section of the Fundus Ludi forum: "Platinrausch".

Platinum has been discovered on a frontier colony, a "platin rush" sets
in, a geologist disappears ...

The adventure has 48 pages (about 1,2 MB) and can be downloaded
here by registered users of Fundus Ludi:
http://www.fundus-ludi.endofinternet.net/jgs_db.php?action=show&eintrags_id=1993&katid=121

If you do not want to register the adventure will most probably be avail-
able on the website of the 13 Mann Verlag (see first post) in a few days,
too.

Thanks!

I wrote Blockade Runners and write now a new Adventure.
Experimental Weapons, the empire, wormholes and entirely unforeseen results are parts of the plot and it takes a lot of fun to write that adventure.

English translation are not planned...now.
I think that could be a interesting experiment, but my english is not so good. It will take a lot of time and more courage.

Cutterina,

I imagime the thirst and hunger for new Traveller material is as strong among fans in your country as it is anywhere else in the world. That said, I can only plead with you to take courage (and hours of your own time!) to translate your adventure into english. I have been using free web-base translation sites but the process is very trdious and imperfectly accomplished.

So, if you have the time, and the strength and courage and generosity...please open this title to the english speaking Traveller fans around the world.

Lou

Burocrate,

I think about it and try to translate my first adventure after I have finished my second adventure in german. :)

But I need somebody to correct my translation.

Have you considered putting it in for publication? This way it could get edited.
