Free PDF with Book, how does this work?

I want to buy two books, I have previously purchased the PDFs for the two but now want the hard copies.
Can I choose any two PDF's or do I just get the PDF of the hard copies purchased? How does this work?
Many thanks

Hi,

You get the PDFs of the books you have purchased. You can reach us at sales@mongoosepublishing.com, with proof of purchase (a photo of the book does the trick), and we can send you the pdf. :)
I don't think that this was the question here. The normal procdedure, that you describe, is that if you buy the printed books that you receive the appropriate PDFs for free. But I think the question was, if you have purchsed the PDF and then later buy the printed version, can you pick PDFs for different books instead, get a discount on the printed version or just receive nothing in addition.

I have been stung by this in the past.

I bought the pdf of a book but it doesn't grant money off the physical book - so If I wanted the physical book I would have to pay full price despite already paying for the pdf - which you get free if you get the physical book.

There should be a way for pdf purchases to offset the cost of buying the physical book at some future date - a promo code with the pdf that provides money off the book.

From a customers point of view this would be the most logical solution. Shipping of the printed version would obviously have to be paid for extra but subtract the cost for the PDF from the cost of the physical copy and that difference is what the customer pays for his printed version.
