flying bugs

I would go for big stuff first, especially if you are a new painter... I find it is much easier to get a big bug looking good and great than a small one.

Also- I just did a pricing at a good online store,

for 76$ you can get 1 Grizzly Officer, 1 Tanker, 1 Plasma, and 2 Boxes of Hoppers... there is shipping, but at orders of 100 its free...

So I would look around make sure you don't get hosed. OR do get hosed but make sure its at a LGS

not a new painter dude :D

i'm spending my mongoose intro credit hence the $75

I really want a tanker cos I think they're awesome
I'm not too sure about a plamsa but I'm sure a giant bug on the table would get peoples attention for demos!
Hoppers or Ripplers because flying bugs are cool 8)
Exosuit officer to spend left over money

I already have a ton of regular warriors and some tigers painted

MI are ok I have a pami platoon, an M8 and the Roughnecks

so looking to bulk out the bugs

all of the choices are good...... as long as you've got a decent core of warriors anyway, you do, so anything you buy increases frexibility. A lot of new players go for lots of big stuff first, (mainly as it's the cheapest way to get points on the table) they end up with inflexible armies that are too easy to beat. Much easier for MI to stay flexible.... change special weapons, buy grenades, buy capsules... all cheap in $$$ or £££.
For demos, nothing shouts STARSHIP TROOPERS more than a tanker bug and a load of warriors... I'd go for option 1.
I'd recommend shopping around though, or look for someone dumping a large amount of SST on Ebay. It's a shame, but it's happening a lot. That way you get more for your money and someone dumping SST feels less bitter about it. (I think the damage is allready done at most LGS).
