Fleet action

Just received the big package a bought from Agents of gaming and I am still checking if everything is fine but I think the fleet action scale is too small(I knew the were smaller but not that much), Do you guys play FA scale with CTA scale with no problem,is kind of strange to play with the same ship but diferent scale.

It is not uncommon to see both sizes on the table. It does look a bit odd. Personally, I think the FA scale is easier to paint, transport and play with. The bigger size look better on the table.

A number of people also prefer a mixture of the two scales to amke the contrast between the big ships and teh smaller ones more impressive. As Greg says a mixture of the two scale is often seen in battles.

See if anyone near you has a War or Arma scale ship in CtA scale and you can see how well the really low level ships look compared to the huge ones. Most times, its almost a better setup cuz the big ships look more menacing.

Indeed. I know the scales of the ships aren't perfect, but mixing ACTA cruisers & destroyers with FA frigates and gunships does look much better than using ships from just one of the two ranges.

Thank you guys, I bought everything fa scale but I had narn, centauri,Earth alliance and mimbari fleet box from 1st edition mongoose.
So I will need to get both drakh and Gain fleets.
And some of armagedon ships too.
If anybody wants to sell something,I would like it very much.
I am from Brazil by the way.
