Fleet Action scale White Star Fighters?

I've just got into ACTA but have a selection of EA and ISA ships in the old Fleet Action scale, now I know that the normal W/S fighters are the old FA Whitestars. At the moment I'm using the bigger Whitestar as a Gunship/Carrier proxy but have no idea what to use as the fighters, has anyone else had this problem and did you come up with a solution?

Any suggestions?

I use FA whitestars, a full size WS as either carrier or gunship and skyserpent counters as WS fighters.

That is of course amongst friends. I wouldn't even consider it in a tourney.

In the case of the Mongoose WS fighters, yes they are the old FA scale WS figures.

All unpainted LBH why dont you make the counters for yourself so people can have there minis

expect to paint your fighters by the end of this year LBH or will they have to wait till next year so your white stars can be made?

Use the FA Whitestars as both WS's and as WSF's.
Base them differently, maybe the round base for the WS's and the hex base for the WSF's ??
