Fisticuffs at O'Leary's Place

I picked up my free game product on Free Game Day Sat. Fisticuffs at O'Learys is just slightly better than four long photocopied sheets of paper put together.

Despite it looking like a lonely flyer sitting among all the colorful sixteen page D20 modules I took the RuneQuest adventure.

And I'm glad I did. It's a bar fight, pure and simple to start, that escalates into greater violence.

One goal is to pound the duck caught up in the brawl, as no one likes the poor duck. He gets his own chance for revenge, as he tries to make off with the silvers locked up under the bar.

As the brawl rolls on, the fight eventually turns deadly due to an earlier theft. A nice piece of work, all told. And well worth the price!

Now I have something to go along with the drinking rules from Signs & Portents.

If this adventure is getting run at Gen Con then I'm signing up. I thought the adventure would be some cheesey half-arsed kind of thing. A bar brawl with some underlying tensions, though, would be great.

I would love to see Mongoose post this adventure online for free. At only four pages it really shouldn't have much of a cost. And it shows off RuneQuest really well.

That's true but Duck Basting and Barbecuing is funnier-Especially when you hear the Loud Quacking of both Duck Sexes as it is happening to them. Ohhhh! Roast Duckie Yummmie!--PIGKING-KING OF ALL UNDEAD ZOMBIE PIGGY'S EVERYWHERE-WHEREVER YOU GO YOU WILL ENCOUNTER THEM.- :shock:
