First Games!

After a lot of delays on my part, I got my first chance to actually play some ACTA:SF last weekend (thanks again, Tony!).

We got in a couple games of Fed (me) against Klingons. I ended up loosing both times, but I still had a blast! The high-point for me was succesfully HET'ing two Fed CAs and unloading alpha-strikes from both of them at point blank range into a supprised Klingon cruiser who had snuck up behind me. :twisted:

I can tell I'm really going to love this game, much simpler than the old SFB but still plenty of room for tactics. Now I really need to start growing the local player base around here and get other people interested.

Luck you. I've tried to use a HET what, 4 times now, zero successes (needed a 4-6 on a D6). :roll:

So, the explosion was just a ruse to cover his strategic withdrawal?

It must have worked as I won.
Or else the UFP commanders were so surprised thatthe HET worked that they forgot there were two more Klingon cruisers coming in behind the one they trashed (or would have trashed if not for the Klingons reinforced front shield.
